A COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund was formed by UWTT to provide support to persons and local communities most affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. bmobile has sponsored the free use of its text-to-donate service to facilitate the UWTT’s fund-raising efforts. The Company was also the first corporate citizen to contribute to the fund with a donation of $20,000 to kick start the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund. Members of the public can contribute to the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund by texting the word GIVE to HELP (4357) from their bmobile phones. Each text will donate $5.00.

At the height of the carnival festivities, PTSC and the Ministry of Works and Transport gave the people of Trinidad and Tobago yet another reason to celebrate and many more opportunities to connect. This is according to Ian Galt, TSTT’s General Manager Enterprise Services, who spoke at the launch of PTSC’s free WiFi initiative and the commissioning of 25 new buses to add to their fleet.
